Television and its technology is and will always be changing. In the past couple of years television has changed dramatically. Two of the biggest changes have come in the form of High Definition and 3D TV’s.
And now in China the next step is being undertaken.
The broadcasting company undertaking this challenge is China Central Television (CCTV). CCTV have five local stations and are hoping to be able to broadcast 4 and a half hours of 3D programming every day, which then will be repeated twice daily. But to be able to watch the latest 3D TV shows with CCTV, you must have a 3D TV set and a matching high definition digital TV set-top box.
But one of the impacts of 3D TV programming could be the effect is have on the economic climate of China. This is due to the fact that China is home to 500 million TV sets, and if a proportion of those were replaced by 3D TV’s the profits would be glorious.
But what do you think?
Good idea or bad idea.

3D tv is really expensive, you have to adapt your whole tv set and most of the time buy a new tv and new everything if you want 3D. I personally think Internet TV is the future.
