London – Earls Court 2 – Quantum CAD exhibited at the top Electronics show in the UK last week. It was an important event for us. We unveiled our new exhibition stand material. The strong branding really announced our presence at the event and a good opportunity to network with those in the electronics. Top decision makers were in attendance and we have already received work from the show.
Pros
Good branding opportunity
Quality not quantity of attendants
Opportunity to promote CX Insight
Pre-arranged meetings produced business
Staff was great – quickly resolved any issues
Great location in London
Cons
Smaller show than expected
Fewer exhibitors and attendants than expected
Too long of show - 2 days would be enough
Expensive once all costs added (travel, hotel, furniture, staff)
Overall – Even though the show was good for branding and networking, I am not sure if we would exhibit again. With the low turnout from delegates and exhibition, I wonder how the 2010 show will be. This was our second year exhibiting at the show. Both years have produced business resulting in a positive ROI from the show, but we might be as success with pre-arranged meeting and simply attending the event. I can’t say enough about the customer service from the NEW staff, they were really helpful and cheerful. I wouldn’t think twice about exhibiting again next year if the show could have attracted a higher number of attendants. Quality of people was definitely there, just not quantity.
We would love to hear what you thought about the show.
